  • Sports

    Girls Basketball: Congratulations to the girls basketball team who finished 5th of twelve teams this weekend at the CK tournament.  Haley Guild won the foul shooting competition and Allison Boyd won the three point competition for the third year in a row.  The girls travel to Parkview and Yarmouth this week for two important road games.

     


  • Rugby

    Rugby: Attention girl's rugby players. Practices start for all girls interested in playing rugby is season this Thursday from 3:30-5:30.  These first practices are for beginners only and no experience necessary.  If you want to play but cannot make it this Thursday please see Mr.Bryan.


  • Wrestling

    Wrestling: Congratulations to the Avon View Wrestlers who competed last Saturday at the Atlantic Wrestling Tournament. Way to go wrestlers! Wrestling practices will be set for Thursday and Friday this week after school!


  • Boys Hockey

    Boys hockey: This Thursday night kicks off the first leg of the Fred Lynch Cup.  A two game total goal series played between the Avon View Boys hockey team and that other school in town. The boys will be flying. Puck drop is 7:30, good seats are going fast.  Paint your face, make a sign and make some noise. See you there.


  • Music

    Students eligible for a "Fine Arts Certificate" are asked to have their applications in to Mr. Woundy by Friday, May 17th.


  • Student Services

    Students must register as soon as possible this week.  The portal is open only during school hours.  Anyone requiring assistance please come to the Guidance Office to book an appointment.


  • Pictures

    During period 3 on Tuesday March 26th students in cheerleading, rugby, band and all grads will have yearbook pictures taken in the main foyer. Groups will be called down by the office.


  • Attention All Potential Grads

    There will be an important Pre-Grad Assembly taking place this Wednesday May 8th, part way through Period 2.  All potential Grads will be called out of class to come to the Cafeteria for a 20 min presentation about Graduation Info, and Local Bursaries and Scholarships.  If you have a free this period, please plan to attend this very important information session.
