We have a one position open for a student who is 16 or over and returning to school in the Fall. It is a 10 week position. The work would include painting, cleaning, moving chairs and tables, etc.

From August 23-August 25, 2013, the Nova Scotia International Student Program will be offering their 2nd annual training camp this year in Truro. This camp is offered to a local grade 10 or 11 student which will be selected by the school. There is no cost to the student in our board. These students will receive instruction in all aspects of the Nova Scotia International Student Program, interact with international summer camp students where the unique issues facing students from abroad will be discussed, and finally develop an action plan to use in their home school. Applications may be picked up at Student Services and the deadline is Friday June 7.
The Windsor Elms Village is currently looking for volunteers for our summer Youth Volunteer Program. The program includes one-on-one visits with our residents, helping out with the recreation activities, and with special events. This is a great opportunity for you to get to know our residents, do something fun with your summer and build upon you volunteer experiences for your resume.
