Flu Clinic Windsor Pharmasave will be conducting a Flu Clinic here Thursday, October 26. Students are welcome to get a flu shot if interested. You must complete a Parent Permission form with your parents’ signature in order to get the flu shot. Parent Permission forms are in the main office.

Writer's Club - Mrs. Steeves Writer's club begins today and welcomes all students in grades 9-12 who are interested in journalism. Each month, we will publish a column in the Hants Journal. Are you interested in calligraphy and fine hand lettering? We do that in writing club, too. come to room 215 (Mrs. Steeves) at quiet bell today to find out more.


Debate Club - Mr. O'Hara The Debate practice usually held on Wednesdays will be cancelled this week. The next Debate Club meeting will be held at lunch next Wednesday, October 18.

Parking Passes Just a reminder to students that Parking Passes are now available at the office, please be sure to come to the office to fill out the paper work to get yours.


Cross Country - Mr. Shaw Congratulations to our Avon View Cross Country team for dominating yesterday’s District Championships winning all 4 High School District titles. Our intermediate girls champs were lead by Eileen Benoit’s 3rd place finish. Our intermediate boys champs were led by Austin Cleveland’s 3rd place finish. Our senior girls champs were led by Olivia Fogarty’s 4th place finish. Our senior boys champs were led by Jacob Benoit’s first place finish. Congratulations again to all the members of the team on your outstanding performance and good luck at Regional Championships next Monday. Also, Special Thanks to all the parent volunteers, our AV student volunteers, our Avon View staff and Coach Paula James for hosting an amazing District Cross Country meet at Irishman's Field yesterday.


JV Boys Soccer - Mr. O'Hara The JV Boys Soccer team is reminded of their home game tomorrow after school against Park View.


Girl's Varsity Soccer - Mr. Atwell The girls varsity soccer team played 2 league games recently. The girls traveled to Greenwood last Thurs. to play West Kings. AV won 2 - 1. Goal scorers were Jada Foley and Sierra Jodrey. Abby Miller was the player of the game. On Sat. AV hosted Yarmouth and lost 3 - 1. Alison Fudge scored the goal for AV and Jada Foley was the player of the game. AV finishes their league schedule today as they travel to Bridgewater to play Parkview.
