Dalhousie University - Student Services A reminder that a representative from Dalhousie University will be here in room 125 at noon today.

Student Council - Mr. Morrison AV can you out-weigh the pumpkin? That's the challenge! With the annual pumpkin regatta this Sunday the AV student council along with We Act have come up with a challenge for the students of AV. Can we out-weigh our pumpkin with food bank donations? Friday at lunch time come with your food bank donations to the AV BBQ and bake sale. You can see and sign the AV pumpkin and enjoy a dollar dog with your food bank donation. See you Friday at lunch


Teens for Change - Ms. Campbell Just a heads up for students interested in being a part of the Teens for Change group that the group is unable to meet tomorrow, but fully expects to meet next Friday. So there will be no Teens for Change meeting this Friday.


AV We Act - Mrs. Connors Sweet Treats are a 'boo'tiful thing, and this Friday the 13th of October, AV We Act will be hosting a Bake Sale in support of local and global initiatives. Bring out your spare change and your sweet tooth and support AV We Act. Did you notice that our AV We Act Jukebox is out of order? No, your ipod is not stuck on replay... but our jukebox is until we have more requests to choose from. Keep those requests coming- $1 per request in room 102 and grade 9 students, don't forget to make your requests in the grade 9 jukebox challenge which closes on Friday. We're officially stuck on replay until we can reassess our request situation on Monday.


Model UN - Mr. O'Hara The Model UN Club will meet today at lunch in room 219. Bring your lunches and the information you found about your nations.

JV Boys Soccer - Mr. O'Hara The JV Boys Soccer team will play their final game of the season after school today against Park View. Players are expected to be on the field and ready to go at 3:45.


Girl's Varsity Soccer - Mr. Atwell The girls varsity soccer team lost 1 - 0 to Park View yesterday to wrap up their regular season. Players of the game for AV were the 2 goalkeepers, Hannah Allen and Brianna Henniger. AV will play NKEC Monday night at Acadia University at 6:30.
