    Main Office

    The time to place the grad gown order is fast approaching. Any potential grad should make sure the office has their height as soon as possible so there is a grad gown available on the day of graduation. Even if you think you may not attend the ceremony, it is better to have one and not need it then to need one and not have it.

    Student Services

    Royal Canadian Legion Hants Co. Branch 009 Bursary - Applications are at Student Services for the Royal Canadian Legion Hants Co. Branch 009 Bursary.  To be eligible, you must be a resident of West Hants during your last high school year; be a son, daughter, grandchild of a veteran; be accepted at a post-secondary institution; be a deserving candidate and be in financial need.  Applications must be passed in to Student Services by Monday, June 2.

     

    Student Council

    AV Student Council - $20 Backpack for the Homeless

    Don't forget to sign up with a Student Council team to donate items for the $20 Backpack for the Homeless fundraiser! With your help, we will be supplying backpacks with necessities to aid homeless people in our community. Ask your friends to join you on a team; a group prize will be awarded to the team with all the items collected first! Find your Student Council group leader anytime during the school day to ask questions or to drop off your donation! Deadline is May 5th so start donating soon!

    Europe Trip

    Tonight is the Penny Auction.  All participants need to stay after school to set up - bring a drink- supper

     will be provided!  Also, it is very important that you all bring in the items that you have for the sale ASAP!  We need to know what we have or need.  Please also bring what you signed up for !  See you then.

     

    Grad Hoodies

    There is a beautiful prom dress for sale in room 204 if anyone is interested stop in at recess or noon.  The spring Polo shirts have arrived. Navy-blue, short-sleeve and a super cool fabric. I have a huge variety of sizes, from extra small to super large. Come see them while they last as they are going fast. They arrived last week and are half sold already. Very popular!!!  Room 204 and they are $25

     

    Youth Sport Fair  

    Summer sport opportunities for youth information fair will be held on April 26, 2014 from 9:00 am- 12:00 noon at the Hants County War Memorial in Windsor.  Find out about what sports are available in the Windsor/West Hants area, try the interactive booths and then register for your choice of sport.  Programs and spring and summer and include Pisiquid Canoe Club, Windsor Bluefins, WH Minor Ball, Windsor Gymnastics Club, Ice All Stars Cheerleading and more.
