At the request of the Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development, we are contacting all SACs, Home and School Associations, PTAs/PTSAs and other parent/guardian-school groups, to invite you to participate in an online survey regarding new provincial homework standards.

The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development launched this survey on May 19, and it is open until June 12. Input from this survey will help guide a new ministerial policy on homework for grades Primary to 12. The policy will come into effect in September.

The survey is available at https://eapps.ednet.ns.ca/educationSurveys/TakeSurvey.aspx?SurveyID=760I464. Contact information is also provided at this link, in case you have questions about the survey.

The members of your SAC, Home and School Association, PTA/PTSA, or other parent-guardian group are welcome to complete the survey as a group, or to provide individual input. We also welcome you to share this information with your school community.
